Wolverines Military Paintball

History

The paintball team Wolverines was established as a result of passion of some gentlemen from North Bohemia, particularly Liberec and the surroundings. The team started in 2007 in Sveborice (the locality does not exist any more). First they used borrowed guns and steamed-up masks. However the team took up to the game, particularly to woodsball and military paintball.

At the beginning the team operated as a part of paintball club Hradek nad Nisou. Team members started to equip themselves better and plan the fist tactical exercise. The successful beginnings were followed by commercial and noncommercial games. The team studied time-proven tactical orders and gained valuable experience. New fans came step by step and brought the idea to create an official team - Wolverines.

Wolverines operate currently in Nordic area military group. This group associates also Viking Division, W.G.N.V., Dogy and Keilerbande.

Game concept

Wolverines team consists of people of different age and jobs. That is why the game is more fun than military drill of commands, sweat and dust. The core who miss tough training and aim to cooperate better in certain situations do tactical exercise and CQB. Wolverines build on team work either in defensive or offensive style of game.


Equipment

The equipment is not strictly given as it is usual for members of other military teams. The team uses either low or high pressure guns, semi or fully automatic guns (SP1, Tippmann, Spyder, Tiberius). The team prefer military uniforms of American universal camouflage pattern  MultiCam™. Anyway the members us mainly equipment which best satisfies their needs (e.g. vz.95, DPM, flecktarn, woodland etc.). Other equipment used are wireless stations, permitted pyrotechnics, smoke grenades etc.
